Paul Fitts was born in Raleigh’s “Old Rex” hospital. He was the middle of three children for John and Ina and attended Rolseville Elementary, Vaiden Whitley Middle and East Wake High. Paul started working at an early age with his father who was a self-employed refrigeration repairman, but eventually worked at Pepsi before and while he was at college at Pembroke.
When Paul left college he worked in all aspects (from delivery driver to sales rep) of a local company called Accent Imaging. For the last 18 years Paul has been a mortgage lender helping many people find their part of the American Dream through home ownership. He has always stated that his priority was about helping people with their transitions and not thinking of them as transactions. In 2015 Paul married the love of his life Joelle, and the two have been involved in many of our areas LOCAL charities including Children’s Flight of Hope, Jingle Ball, Green Chair and the Lighthouse Foundation. As well as national charities like the Red Cross, March of Dimes, St. Jude, MS and ALS.
A message from the candidate – “Raleigh is a growing area and we have a serious growing debt issue. Please join us in our campaign to reduce wasteful spending and correct our fiscal mistakes. Raleigh can be a better manager of funds to reduce the money that citizens owe on our City’s debt. Tax relief for citizens means more in your own pocket to aid those around you. Let’s work to fix our problems together.”
